Not enough sleep. Trying to update often and awesomely. Sort of succeeding. Full of sentence fragments today.

My little sister and I were sitting in a coffee shop this afternoon when a five year old walked in wearing a cat print outfit with all these feathers on it and a tail coming out of the back. She started wandering around in circles and wanted to know where the trash can was, so she could throw away the stick from her lollipop. My sister and I just got the giggles because she was in such an awesomely outlandish outfit and we wished we could still get away with picking out clothes like that in the morning.

I've been horrendous about updating lately. Sorry.

I read an interesting article the other day in the Washington Post about how, if you have chronic ear infections as a child, you don't have very good coordination.

February's an awesome month to have a birthday. It's my ex-boyfriend's sixth birthday today. (He's a leap year baby.) Happy birthday, Patrick! I'm glad you got born.

Happy birthday, Brett!

It's been quite a while since I've updated. My computer was a high school graduation present. It ran windows 98. There wasn't anything wrong with it, but it was eight or nine years old. I got a new one for my birthday.

The program I drew my comic in was some sort of super basic photo imaging program I got with my webcam back in 1999. It's incompatible with my new computer, so the text on the comic'll be changing, but other than that, there shouldn't be much of a noticeable difference.

I know I haven't been drawing any new comics in the last couple months. My mouse died of old age and a failed attempt at cleaning it. I went and bought an optical mouse, but it didn't draw smoothly at all. The lines were jagged and ugly. It made me want to stop drawing altogether. My keyboard stopped working recently though and so I decided to replace both the keyboard and the mouse. I got a roller ball mouse and now I'm back to drawing properly (or improperly) again. The end.

Volume I is 196 pages long and costs $15.00.

(Buy it.)

Volume 2 is 218 pages long and costs $16.00.

(Buy it.)

P.S. Happy Birthday, little sister! If you haven't gotten your present yet, it's totally coming... tomorrow(ish).

I made a new puppet. He's a robot.

I added a heart eating monster shirt to the store. I'm looking into screenprinting and how hard it would be to learn how to screenprint my own shirts. That's a ways down the road though.

I'm also considering selling some hand drawn art. Reinterpretations of comics, stuff similar to the heart eating monster and maybe some robots. It would be on cardstock and probably about half the size of a standard piece of paper.

I updated the store yesterday with a couple of new puppets. And lots of older ones. Go check it out. It's prettier now.

Keenspace hasn't been uploading comics correctly for the last few days. How frustrating. By the time you read this the problem will be fixed.

I need some job suggestions. Career advice. I am lost.

I have a miniature battleship. It takes baths with me.

Happy Valentine's Day! I'm making heart shaped pieces of jello for my mother and some construction paper valentines later today. The cheesier the sentiments the more fun they are.

There are puppets for sale right now in the store. They make great christmas presents.

November 14, 2006
I'll have some puppets in the store by the end of this weekend, but feel free to email me with requests if you have an idea for a puppet you'd like to buy. (They're twelve dollars. Shipping's free.)

I redesigned the site a little bit and put up a store. More stuff will be in it soon. Puppets to buy and maybe some more shirts. Check it out.

I'm thinking about making shirts or bumper stickers or something similar in the near future. If I made some what strips would you most like to see on them?

August 20, 2006
Since my guestbook doesn't always work, I added comment boxes to the site. The ones directly underneath the comics are basically all the same comment box, but the ones underneath these news items are different. (If that makes any sense.) I'm still working on a way to embed different comment boxes into each individual page. Unfortunately, the pages are all automatically generated, so it's harder than I thought it would be.

I finally finished uploading all the pictures of the puppets I had in an art show at the Unitarian church over on nightgig.

Check out this awesome song Katie Weisman wrote about the comic. I am so flattered (and tickled quite pink) by it.

(It references this strip and this strip and this one too.)

Puppetry (a comic Skyler Breeden came up with in the bath one day) is hosted on Keenspace, a free webhosting and site automation service for webcomics.
